Anthony Weiner pleads guilty to sexting teenage girl and faces prison sentence

Former congressman Anthony Weiner has pleaded guilty to transmitting sexual material to a 15-year-old girl and faces years in prison.

Weiner agreed Friday not to appeal any sentence between 21 and 27 months in prison. The judge told him he would have to register as a sex offender.

In court, Weiner cried as he apologized to the teenager with whom he exchanged sexually explicit texts.

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,” the former Democratic congressman said.

Like our President did, and then brag about it on the radio. That is somehow laudable?


On the other hand, Anthony Weiner's sickness in his addiction to sexting destroyed not only himself, but his wife Huma Abedin, and since she was Hillary's primary assistant, then indirectly a black mark on Hillary's campaign that Right Wingers are still harping on.

He has a lot to atone for, especially since this was not his first personal and professional disaster in all this.
