It's a great ad. An older female doctor from Cobb County, who is also a breast cancer survivor, criticized Handel for cutting off PP funding at clinics where women lost their breast cancer screenings. She was in her scrubs, and was very serious and credible. She said she didn't want to get involved in politics, but Handel went too far.
Brilliant move! I love it! Way to go Ossoff campaign!

(54,358 posts)Act Blue sucks wind, software declines some credit cards if the contribution comes from overseas, so I just sent them a check the old fashioned way. Just as well--that way no one takes out a cut before the campaign gets the money.
I just hope Georgia isn't still rigged the same way it was when Max Cleland got cheated out of his Senate seat.

(24,560 posts)I can't think of many who would be worse than she is. I know a lot of republicans who don't like her, but they are still prone to vote for the R regardless. sigh.

(102 posts)There was another special election here in the GA 6th for the State Senate seat. Though the Dem lost, she managed to get 43% in a very red district.
