"Huma Abedin, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton, has filed for divorce from her estranged husband Anthony Weiner, according to the New York Post.

She is requesting that the court seal the case, which would effectively bar it from public view.

Weiner pleaded guilty on Friday to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor. Prosecutors have indicated that they will ask for 21 to 27 months in prison for the former New York congressman.
Weiner will also have to register as a sex offender.

Abedin separated from Weiner in August amid revelations that he had exchanged sexually explicit images with a woman on social media. Abedin and Weiner married in 2010 and have a young son together."
