Friday pure speculation thread - WHO IS IT?

The Washington Post reported Friday afternoon that federal investigators were looking at a senior White House official as a “significant person of interest.” The article did not identify the official, though it noted that the person was “someone close to the president.”

How many people are "close to the President"?

Serious it's not a long list.

Who do you think it might be?

Ivanka has allegedly been copying fashion designs, with doesn't look good...but somehow I imagine that although she might be aware of some things, probably not directly involved.

He doesn't work in the White House. I think the NYT would refer to him as a "senior administration official". That being said, I have no doubt that that evil little cretin is swimming in the stew with the rest of them.

Bannon was likely involved with Cambridge Analytics data mining related to computer hacking that could have some convoluted Russian funding or collusion, but investigation probably hasn't progressed that far yet.

Most likely person currently being investigated is Kushner because he failed to disclose his foreign contacts on his official security clearance forms and Trump financial connections are involved with Russian that Kushner met
