I'm sick of these excuses that Trump didn't know the law

That he didn't know he shouldn't be calling Comey or that he didn't know enough about the law to understand he was engaging in obstruction of justice. The man was elected president. He is supposed to know MORE than the average citizen, not less. He has the DOJ, the White House Counsel, and personal lawyers. He is surrounded by people to set him straight. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse for a president, even one as stunningly incompetent as Trump.

If he's that stupid he should give up the job to someone more capable.

And his cohorts are going to find out they will not be getting out of jail free...no matter how much money they have amassed.

12. How often have we heard that ignorance of the law is no excuse--when applied to us peasants?

Trump refuses to consult with the many, many experts he has available--no matter what the topic or issue. His ignorance is deliberate, because he is so sure he knows more than anyone about everything.

If he didn't know, he SHOULD have known. It was his RESPONSIBILITY to know. That's why it's a good idea to have some PRIOR experience in government before assuming the highest office in the land.
