We have a family gathering at our home place. Be at least 80 probably closer to 100 souls there and not one word of politics or religion uttered. We long ago agreed to disagree. It keeps peace

Care bill debacles. This is very stressing on her, all of us actually.

Now I actually am enjoying the news as The Orange Sphincter spirals downward. There may be fits and starts ahead, setbacks even, but the shit is going down, just a matter of how many heartless sell-outs go down with him.

I look at this as a chance to reset a lot of things. My wish list is prefaced on us getting both Houses of Congress and the WH again. If we can exert tremendous pressure to get the money out of our politics, we can get representatives who will bust up the banking, media, telecom/cable and health care industries we can improve our quality of life tremendously.

The media landscape that Roger Ailes created where everyone can watch only the propaganda they like has caused the hyper-partisanship that we have today. It has created the Tea Party and Trumpsters we have today. It misleads them and keeps them angry and afraid so that they vote in droves against their on interests. Watch Fox now and see how out of step they are with what they are talking about. Things like stopping leakers, whether the new FBI Director will re-open the Hillary email investigation... This is killing our country!

It's exhausting keeping up with the endless stream of corruption and excuse-making. Take a day off, anyone feeling overwhelmed. We'll keep an eye on things. Rest. Recharge. Relax for a day or a weekend.
