I am trying to take off my partisan lens and seeing things as a dispassionate observer.

I just don't see a majority of Americans countenancing perpetual chaos.

1. I think there is a solid 25 to 30% of citizens who would forgive trump* nearly anything

I'm actually having trouble coming up with many scenarios they wouldn't overlook or rationalize away.

The problem is what percent of the republican congress will put country before party. Some days I'm not even sure that would hit the double digits.

2. My money's on a Palin-like resignation.

Once he thinks he's maximized the benefit to his business, he'll quit saying that he can fight the "haters" better as a private citizen.

3. I think he will leave the White House before his four-year term is up.

I think that the reason will be health-related.

Now, how do we get rid of HIM?

I hope democrats and the press don't lose their appetite for investigation and prosecution our of sheer exhaustion.
