We Are Very Close To A Failed Government/Failed Nation. Just A Feeling.

If you look at the entire picture it is a dismal one. Thanks to the Trumpets, GOP and Trump we are nearing a state of failure in our national government. And our states controlled by the GOP are approaching failed state government. Kansas, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Illinois to name a few are falling into slowly spiraling chaos.

The GOP may well succeeding in drowning government all over the place before 2018. I believe we are in a real national crisis that we do not clearly see yet.

GOP failure would be success actually. Because if they succeed in all their policies the country will slip into dysfunction.

It is not that you can point to any one thing, it is just a sense of dread when you look at all the nefarious characters at the helm in our governmental institutions nationally and locally.

feeling full of anxiety. It's the sense that everything is slowly falling apart. I've never felt this way about my country and ive never felt this frightened.

The reaction by the....whoever..whatever is in charge; the pace is so freaking LEISURELY. Russian puppets. In all branches of government. The Senate. The House. The Judiciary. In every agency. And they are scheduling hearings, and conferencing and investigating and...leaking.

4. Failed government, yes. They're all in serious CYA mode and just hanging on

until they can manage to find other work so they can spend more time with their families. Between Asshole's erratic behavior and screaming fits and all the court intrigue by his nearest and dearest, the White House has to be about the most toxic workplace in the country right now. And most government appointments are going unfilled. Nothing is going to work given a few more weeks of this incompetent shit show of a government.

We're not quite a failed state, not yet. Unless the Democratic Party throws away another victory with both hands in 2018, we still have some hope of passing things that will stave off disaster until Pence or whatever other goon succeeds Asshole is out in 2020.

sure will be worse after the Voter Fraud Commission), gerrymandering, and RW propaganda on 80% of television and radio, I doubt that the Democrats will ever control both houses and the WH again.

10. I've been watching them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for too long

I'm hoping Perez and Ellison aren't all talk about resurrecting the 50 state strategy.

I'm just too damned old to achieve that level of blind faith.

5. We may be able to hang on if the investigations don't take too long.

And they force gop popularity to drop into the 20s.
If we do get rid of Trump it will be chaos again for awhile.
It will be a long time in any case before we get competent government up and running again.
Just have to hope a huge crisis doesn't hit anytime soon
