There are several young Democratic stars rising.

Everybody starts with the Castro brothers from Texas. Tim Ryan is a popular blue collar Democrat from Ohio. We have wonderful Senators like Sheldon Whitehouse, Sherrod Brown, and Jeff Merkley from Oregon. We have bright young Democrats like Adam Schiff, Joe Kennedy III, and several others.

I don't know if Sally Yates is a Democrat or not? But, if she is an independent, she would be welcome in our Party, I would think?

4. And Gillibrand from New York and Bacerra and Newsom from California. It's time to get younger.

6. I don't think we should talk about age in the sense of years...

...but in the sense of ideas. New ideas to fit the challenges ahead.

8. Ok, but I'm thinking years. The stark contrast between an aging, unhealthy-looking...

befuddled 74-year-old trump on a debate stage with a young, dynamic Dem candidate with new ideas will be a big advantage for us.

The Boomers have had a long run, it's time.

And I'm a Boomer.

7. Yep Sally Yates is a Dem,

I saw a rerun of her CNN interview on Friday and that was a dramatic cliffhanger question answered after several minutes of commercials. Good ol' CNN. She also said forcefully that she's not interested in running for governor of Georgia but come to think of it she didn't rule out other offices.

p.s. she was the acting Attorney General who was fired by Trump for refusing to enforce his first Islamic-country travel ban. She was appointed by Obama. Awesome interview and she'd make a great candidate!

10. She could pull an Obama...

run for the Senate seat and serve a couple of years and then run for the White House, if the time was right?

11. If it worked out so she ran against Trump or even Pence in 2020

she'd give them a good run for the money and I'd say the odds are even that she'd win. Wrongfully fired civil servant takes on the boss who did it, talk about reality TV!

15. How can you skip Kamala Harris?

Her star is already brighter than any name you mentioned.
