Trump Is NOT The Only Problem. The ENTIRE GOP Is The Problem.

If you look at their attitude and their agenda they plan to create a national emergency on every level to solidify their dictatorial power. And they are using racial and cultural resentment and fixed elections to do it.

1. You are so right!

Every Talking Head needs to ask the same simple question to all Republicans as more shit comes out:

Why do you keep allowing Donald Trump to violate the law?

They need to own this mess!

3. Paul Krugman "What is the matter w/Republicans."

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/19/opinion/whats-the-matter-with-republicans.html?_r=0

On Wednesday, Paul Ryan held a press conference just after the revelation that Donald Trump had pushed James Comey to kill the investigation into Michael Flynn — you know, the guy Trump appointed as national security adviser even though his team knew that Flynn’s highly suspicious foreign ties were under investigation.

Faced with questions about the Flynn scandal and the Comey firing, Ryan waved them away: “I don’t worry about things that are outside my control.”

It has become painfully clear, however, that Republicans have no intention of exercising any real oversight over a president who is obviously emotionally unstable, seems to have cognitive issues and is doing a very good imitation of being an agent of a hostile foreign power.

snip

And this monolithic structure — lavishly supported by a small number of very, very wealthy families — rewards, indeed insists on, absolute fealty. Furthermore, the structure has been in place for a long time: It has been 36 years since Reagan was elected, 22 years since the Gingrich takeover of Congress. What this means is that nearly all Republicans in today’s Congress are apparatchiks, political creatures with no higher principle beyond party loyalty.

5. Counter-attack at all levels of gov't...

I like what I hear about Indivisible and Angie's List training and supporting new Dem candidates.

Time to fight back...peacefully, of course.

6. "Shock Doctrine"

It's been a Republican policy for decades...

Crisis is the easiest way to get people to voluntarily give up their liberties and ultimately their freedom.

12. Yeah, like Erdagon, in Turkey, democratically elected, but

he abused human rights to the point of causing an attempted coup. Then, from that, he created more crises. (Oh yeah, his thugs even attacked protesters outside of their embassy a couple of days ago.) Now, he is using it all as an excuse and he has convinced the electorate to roll back democracy, so he could have more power to resolve the problems.

Deja vu

8. Controlled and disciplined resistance

There are more of us than there are of them. We can overcome by remembering our past struggles against oppression. Let's resurrect our 2008 efforts with hope knowing that "Yes We Can!".

9. Trump and the GOP are not the only problems, either

FOX news and a syndicate of over 1000 right wing radio stations are the alternative-news spewing propaganda machine that do the GOP's bidding.

And tens of millions of brainwashed mouthbreathing skinwasters round out the usual suspects for what is ailing the USA.

11. it's the party of the rich elites v.s the rest of us.

Most Repubs in Congress are willing servants of the rich and powerful class, and live to serve them. The bests government officials that money can buy! They've been grabbing more and more power and must be stopped.

The rest of us must keep gathering forces to take back our democracy.
