Trump on NPR... unreal!

I was just "treated" on NPR to an audio clip of our Ape-in-Chief referring to the Manchester bombers as "losers" amidst a typically vapid and empty-headed excuse for a "speech."

Yes, this is the current President, folks. Whereas Obama would have skillfully reeled out a detailed and comprehensive speech on stopping terrorism by building global alliances, this junk-food-cramming cable-news-watching asshole can do nothing more than natter about "losers" like the sneering adolescent rapist he is.

Thank you so much, Trump voters, for insisting on choosing this sad excuse for a human being that the rest of us now must suffer. You were suckered by a soulless, immoral con man with all the sleaze of a 1970's plaid jacket (which he might as well have been wearing) and now we're all "losers" as a result, since we must put up with this armpit-stain of a "man" until his dishonesty drives him from office, one way or the other.

Shaking my damn head at how utterly and gleefully stupid some people can be...

Trump voter should ever permit themselves to vote in any election. They have demonstrated, in a manner that should even be clear to them, that their political understanding is woefully inadequate to the task of being an informed citizen.

And so they vote for someone who validates that bias by claiming he'll just go in there and "fix things," like, you know poverty, Middle East tensions, drug problems, health care, etc., like these complicated issues have only been waiting for someone to come in and make a decision and presto! - fixed!

Oh, that's right, I guess I could also ask: How can someone who was running for friggin' President think self governance and foreign policy "can't be that hard, can it?"

They wanted someone who spoke straight; they saw Obama as someone who was "soft on terrorism" because his diplomatic approach wouldn't condemn everybody. Trump voters don't see it the way you do. They like that he's talking like a 10-year-old, because it's how they would do the job if they were president.

We did this. This whole election was ours. Not Hillary's. Ours. We failed. Women who did not bother. Minorities who did not bother. Democrats who thought is was in the bag and did not bother. Disabled, poor, young.
Where was everybody?
Smug at home, work, play.
We just did not bother. So don't let it bother you now.
I just cannot stand it.
It was ours to lose and we lost it.
I still cry. The hopelessness of my chosen party is more than the words I have.
I do apologize again to those who did bother, yet, I should have done more then.

that the maggot/Russia interference didn't change the outcome of the election? Or the Comey letter? Or voter suppression laws? Or purged voter rolls? I could go on and on.

I'm so tired of the "we did this", "we allowed this to happen" crap. I didn't do this and neither did most of the people on this board. If you want to blame yourself have at it. Just, please, leave the rest of us out of it.

playing in the living room. I heard a clip of Trump calling the terrorists "losers in life". When I first heard it, I honestly thought it was a comedian doing an impersonation of how Trump might respond to the attack. I was torn between thinking it was in poor taste for someone to be making jokes on television during a situation like this, while also finding the impersonation to be kind of brilliant. I was HORRIFIED when I went in the living room to watch and realized it wasn't even a comedian, it was actually the President of the United States. Mortifying!
