Question about cable companies

I want to get rid of my Comcast cable and get another one but is DirectTV any better? Your recommendations and thoughts on this. I'm so tired of Comcast and their right-wing pig CEO's who are helping NBC get rid of Lawrence O'Donnell.

Definitely go with RCN. I have used the for several years, no complaints. In my town (Somerville MA), people get to choose either Comcast or RCN. RCN here gives us fiber to the house. I don't now why anyone here would use Comcast.

5. DirecTV is owned by ATT, which is trying to buy Time Warner Inc.

and is sucking up to Trump big time to make sure that deal goes through.

The company's CEO, Randall Stephenson, contributes almost exclusively to repub candidates (Romney, Cruz, McCain, Hastert, Delay etc etc).

You're fooling yourself if you think ATT would treat O'Donnell any differently if they owned MSNBC. And keep in mind, if ATT succeeds in buying Time Warner Inc, they will own CNN.

I cannot speak to DirectTV's service, but I've heard shitty things about AT&T's U-Verse.

Here in Florida, due to periodic heavy downpours, the signal can drop out. I didn't care for the VOD, several channels with staggered start times, as opposed to real VOD. Since becoming ATT, I can't say.
