It's Not A Coincidence Brian Williams' Show Airs THREE Times

Hayes, Maddow, O'Donnell, all their shows air Twice. Yet "The 11th Hour," airs 3 times. Even though it's actually the last of those I mentioned to air at 11 EST.

If you think that the decision has not already been made on O'Donnell and his 10 PM slot, then I have a bridge to sell you. The head of the network has a love affair with Williams, and will do what he wants in regards to moving him, even if it means tossing aside the #2 show in the primetime lineup.

It's great that there is an effort going on to help O'Donnell get a new contract, but he already sees the writing on the wall I'm sure. The only question now is whether they're going to let him finish out his contract, or pull him before his final scheduled show next week.

2. They do love Williams but the 4am rerun is probably because it's the "freshest" hour before they go

live again.

15. How does not renewing O'Donnell's contract change the nature of the entire

broadcast media?

4. I think O'Donnell's people are in serious negotiations with MSNBC.

17. I'll Remain Hopeful, But I Think It's Window Dressing

Sure, they're negotiating now, so it looks like they did something, and supporters won't think he was just thrown aside in favor of Williams.

Let's be honest, negotiations don't take this long. They don't go to the last day, with the 2 sides getting every detail to their satisfaction. It's a certainty that O'Donnell wants to stay, and in his current time slot. I doubt he's holding out over money, or even that MSNBC wants to cut his paycheck.

My guess is they want to move him, maybe to 11 PM, and he's refusing to take that demotion, while Williams gets his slot. This is something they won't EVER agree upon, and makes these "negotiations" just a save face for the network.

6. Would O'Donnell be #2 without the Maddow lead-in? I'm not a fan of his but that's neither here nor

there. Most people are sick of the news by 10:00 p.m. unless there's something unusual going on. I don't think OD will last..

9. Lawrence is my second fav

1. Rachel
2. Lawrence
3. Chris Hayes

Williams is a slightly credulous moderate, a bit too willing to treat the GOP positions with more sincerity than they deserve.

But forced to list my favorites it would be:

1. Lawrence
2. Chris Hayes
3. Rachel

(but what do I know? I even like Tweety)

14. he's the ranch dressing to her hot wings

Rachel is dynamite, but she can be a bit overwhelming.

LD is a lighter and easier to digest.

16. I Agree

Sometimes I feel like Rachel spends too much time doing commentary essentially, rather than reporting the story itself. She mixes the two together. Lawrence is more of a news program, and less an editorial, plus he seems to get quality guests frequently.
