Does anyone else wonder if the Russian spies and media dropped bugs when in Oval office?

I keep thinking about how advanced technology is these days and listening devices can be made extra tiny. I keep thinking about Trump letting the Russians into the Oval Office, with Russian media. If any of them got near a piece of furniture they could have dropped a bug or two and Russia would have a main-line into the Oval Office discussions.

Just saying...

What a fool to he was to let them into the Oval Office.

Even if Trump doesn't get impeached, 25th Amendmented, ordered to resign or else, or French Revolutioned, he can't stay in office past 1/20/2025. Properly-made passive bugs could stay around far longer than that.

Do you think all the media is very patriotic and would never think of doing such a thing?
How about Breitbart and those types? Should ANY foreign media be allowed in the White House? How about the British? How about the French or Germans? Are you super trusting of all of them just like 100% of the American media?

You should know the NSA sweeps the White House regularly for any 'bugs' or other electronic devices. This whole thread is absurd.

Though I can't provide the link just now, courts have found that the journalist is not violating the law by publishing the material once it's in their hands, but the leaker can still be charged with espionage for releasing the material.

Do you have any actual questions?

As noted, journalists are allowed to publish the information they're given. Why should they be charged?

That's also why they protect their sources so carefully, because their sources *could* be charged.

Get it?

Yet it happens every day. And you actually think it is proper for a journalist to knowingly hide a felon or traitor. I don't and neither do the courts. You may remember the Judith Miller case where she was sent to jail for refusing to name a source.

Look, I get that you're desperate to paint journalists as criminals for some reason, and I wish you the best of luck with that fantasy, but it's not borne out by reality.

As for Judith Miller, was she charged with espionage? No? Then her case is not relevant to this discussion.

narcissist whose militant ignorance, massive ego, and greed would give the russians more than enough compromat to pull his strings. They've also had first hand financial dealings with him since the early 90's. They probably know more than our IC does and that's certainly more than we know.

It's a valid assumption that they own him. And that's more important than obstruction of justice.
