5. Most Trump supporters I run into are some flavor of anti-intellectual Christian, and authoritarians.

They've got long lists of people they hate and people they feel superior too, and they believe their god feels the same.

But for geographical separation and elite U.S. America's Anglophile leanings, I think 30-40% of the U.S. would have folded quicker to the Nazis than France did.
