ACT for America's "March Against Sharia" Official Facebook Page Full of Racist Anti-Muslim Sentiment

ACT for America, the largest grassroots anti-Muslim group in the country, announced plans to hold nationwide rallies dubbed the “March Against Sharia” on June 10.
 
To date, events are scheduled in 23 cities covering 18 states. The march is primarily being organized by ACT for America staffer Scott Ryan Presler, a man who runs the closed Facebook group being used to plan the events. The group also indicates that ACT is recruiting the services of anti-government groups to act as security for the rallies.

The Facebook page, created just over a month ago on April 23, currently has over 1,500 members.  The racist and violent content directed toward Islam and Muslims is plentiful:

“I have to disagree. I beleave [sic] we use any force needed to remove these islamic muslim Refugees terrorist [sic] from this country and are [sic] way of life” said Charles Chew on May 13.

A May 9 post by Greg Meyer shows former President Barak Obama with a noose around his neck with the words “I look forward to this every day!!!” Theresa Lawver responded to Meyer’s post writing, “Me too and it WILL happen. President Trump is a genius!!”

In a comment following a post about Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, Virgina Salamino Martinez wrote, “This bitch should be deported. She’s a terrorist.” Charles Chew returned on May 17 to write, “Kill all muslim terrorist [sic] in America.”

1. These people give me nightmares, and not about me.

I have the pleasure of knowing plenty of Muslims; one has told me God protects me and is a total sweetheart, one who has an astounding amount of dedication to a job that is both underpaid and underappreciated, one who spoke out for same sex marriage when many of our politicians were still not quite for it yet, and another is the kind of woman that if you looked up "adorable" in the dictionary then you might see her picture by it.

All that I am going to say is that I'm watching these people as they do their little hate and if they try to go Timothy McVeigh on people I consider family, then they will regret it.
