Do a Google news search for Trump shoves. In just the past half an hour, the story and video of Trump shoving aside the Prime Minister of Montenegro to push to the front of a group of other NATO leaders has leaped to the top of the news, both in the US and internationally. And that's just the beginning. Before much more time has passed, it will lead the news everywhere.
That video will also, no doubt, be the lead-in video for the major network news this evening.
Way to go, Donald! You've made the office of Boor-in-Chief of the United States famous with your rude, churlish behavior.
That video will be the take-away from the NATO conference. Bravo, Donald! Bravo!

While Montenegro is not currently a NATO member, the accession of Montenegro to NATO is expected to be completed on June 5th, which is probably why Prime Minister Dusko Markovic was attending the conference.
Through NATO, Montenegro deployed 40 soldiers, a three-member military medical team, and two officers under German command to Afghanistan in 2010. Montenegro peacekeepers were also deployed to Liberia and Somalia.

(3,602 posts)of your second and third sentences, they're such a concise and accurate summation of my take on this horror. Donald Trump is weak, insecure and completely and pathologically self-centered. He is a vile excuse for a human being and SO IS ANYONE who isn't appalled by his sickening behavior.
The "so is anyone" part is why I try to avoid political talk anymore. I live in a deeply red county, almost 80% Republican, and I really don't want to know if someone STILL supports Trump. I know they can't be persuaded or argued with and I can't go around hating almost everyone I come in contact with, so I don't want to know their hateful side. I didn't think anything could be worse than the Bush years, but this, I feel, is. And we're just 3 months in. God(or something) help us.

(409 posts)Prime Minister, Milo Đukanović, according to the government of Montenegro. Putin specifically didn't want Montenegro joining NATO. Now that Montenegro will officially join NATO in just a couple of weeks, is it really a coincidence that Putin's puppet was shoving the Prime Minister at a NATO meeting of all places?
I have no doubt that Trump would have tried to make his way to the front no matter who was in front of him, but I also don't think it's just a coincidence that the person he ended up shoving in the process was the Prime Minister of Montenegro. IMO, Trump had a clear look of contempt on his face and seemed to go out of his way to avoid even acknowledging the Prime Minister's presence after the incident took place. It leaves me with the impression that the shove wasn't JUST about getting to the front. That's just my opinion though.
MineralMan
(151,540 posts)He's not big on things like that. I suspect he couldn't tell you the names of more than four or five of those NATO leaders on sight, nor what countries they represented.
