On Thursday, MSNBC caught up with several Republican lawmakers who either laughed off the incident or blamed liberals.
You know, we didnt have a course on body slamming when I went to school, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) joked. I missed that course. Im sorry I missed it.
Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) said that violence was unacceptable, but he insisted that the left had precipitate the attack.
The left has precipitated this tense confrontational approach throughout the country in recent months, Franks opined. I reject any kind of thing where we use physical violence in a situation like that. It should not have happened.

So, he decided to change the subject by body slamming the reporter -- that was definitely a subject changer. Seems like he was correct. No one is talking about Gianforte's position on the CBO score and how the House bill will knock 23 million off healthcare insurance.
My answer is ... oh, look at the shiny object!

(5,591 posts)It is the air they breathe. They blame women for everything, they blame minorities, they blame liberals, they blame the media. The Party of No Accountabilty, No Responsibilty, No Humanity.
And I hope there are no "helpers" around when they are eventually body slammed into oblivion at the polls.
We must make sure of it.
