4. I commented on this when I heard his schedule

It could be spun that Obama is shadowing Trump. I really wouldn't be surprised if there's a part of this in what Obama is doing. I'm surprised they haven't used this as a distraction or at least an air time filler-the RW media is seriously off their game.

It hasn't anything to do with politics or with Trump. But it's possible that Trump heard that Obama was going to Germany and he planned his own trip for the same time. I don't know about that.

The Germans are celebrating 500 years of Martin Luther and the establishment of Protestantism. They made a point of inviting Obama even before anyone knew that Trump would be the new POTUS. Obama isn't a Lutheran but he is a devout Protestant.

There was no political angle to this, but the press is making one anyway.
