Quist appears to be widening his lead. If that continues with almost 50% in, rather than narrowing, it is obviously a good sign, especially in a small state, with not a lot of votes out there.

He fought a good fight but came up a little short this time. The 2016 deep red state shows some progress in the Trump Effect map. Maybe with a stronger candidate/message it can be flipped in the next election cycle.
