One of our last patients of the day was wearing a huge Trump button.

Wore it proudly on her blouse. You couldn't miss it. My co-worker and I couldn't even look at each other as I checked her in. I was so afraid we were going to lose it and burst out laughing. What are these people thinking, I'd really like to know.

9. I like to think I'm a professional and would never laugh at a patient.

When I'm at work I make it a point to give 110% and NEVER judge anyone at the clinic. I would have been fine by myself, but my co-worker and I have very similar political leanings and we had just been showing each other silly things about Trump on the computer. It happened exactly at the wrong time. It was a challenge.

8. Couldn't you, like, remove her pin for some medical reason?

And when re fixing it, kinda stick her? Never mind...there's that Hippocratic Oath and all. Do no harm

12. Maybe tell her that there's been a recall of these pins

because they're radioactive, and she needs to take it off immediately. Then she could be told the pin will be wrapped in lead foil and sent to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for safe disposal.
