Why do you believe the normal grand jury process and the subsequent arrest and trial would not work as usual, spy or otherwise? The violent overthrow of our legitimate government by the military led by some dictator is pretty farfetched. What circumstances are you imagining where the military should, or even would, get involved with any such extra judicial intervention when our Constitution and the rule of law is still securely controlled by our elected government?

Maybe something along the lines of taking a spy into custody while they were on a military base (like Andrews).

In the current situation a coup might be a counter coup considering what Russia and Drumpf have done.

This is a mess the founding fathers never imagined.
