(6,486 posts)and especially when one of the first things he did was a big layoff of news people. But since then I've been pleasantly surprised. Trump seems to have awakened latent journalism tendencies in the MSM. I remember when MSM mostly didn't even report that 10 million people protested the War for Bush's Codpiece (or the War for Cheney's Halliburton Options, whichever you want to call it) , so I was surprised when they reported on the women's march.
