Trump's Unspoken Thought: "To Make America Great Again, I Must First Destroy It!"
His actions and nefarious schemings seem to indicate that he is thinking something much like that. And in that thinking, he has the support of a certain sector of the population of this country. In order to create the "great America" he envisions, he believes that he must first destroy the America that exists.
That is the dream of tyrants. They want to remove and destroy everything that does not follow their ideas. Only by doing that can they institute their plans. We saw such a thing in the 1930s in Europe, with a tyrant who systematically attempted to wipe out an entire people. Trump's dream is to wipe out all of those who are in need of any help, leaving behind only the strong, white and angry. This is Trump's dream. It is also the dream of the bigoted, the wealthy, and those who believe that their failures are not their own, but are caused by the "others."
Can we rid ourselves of this tyrant? That remains to be seen. If we do not do that expeditiously, though, he will implement any means necessary to prevent us from doing it later. And he will find support in those goals, make no mistake.
