Kanter has publicly spoken out against the current leadership of Turkey....
as a result the Turkish Gov. cancelled
his passport while he was on an international tour holding basketball camps ...
He ended up working with our Homeland Security Dept to safely make it back to the US.
He describes the Turkish president's assent to dictatorial power..
1. A fake coup blamed on opposition group used to justify a lock down ( our martial law)
2. Hundreds of thousands of people imprisoned for their political views
3. Shut down media outlets
4. Shut down universities
5. Police / soldiers can torture & rape w/o consequences
Referenced the recent events involving Turkey visit to US in which US protestors were beaten
What We experienced in that instance is what Turkey is willing to do in public & in another country...
Imagine what they do in Turkey ...
& when there is no press coverage...
Kanter's family & friends are still in Turkey
But he cannot contact them ... because it will put them in danger...
It was necessary for him to return to the US as quickly as possible because if he had been detained in any country at sent back to Turkey (due to cancelled passport)
Kanter states that he would be imprisoned on day 1 for having spoken out in opposition of the Turkish government...
And that he believes on day 2 he would be killed.
& if anyone inquired about his whereabouts
there would be a casual report of his death allegedly due to poisoning of some kind.
So, we know how fond 45 is of Turkey's Pres.
How long before a fake attack here in US?
(State Dept is already setting stage by quietly lifting the Refugee limit on # allowed to enter each week... thus creating the plausible source of the (false) attack... those 'dangerous' refugees)
Followed by martial law
And a list of "Terrorists" (outspoken opposition)
And creating a state media
Imprisoning of journalists & protesters
Etc......
