Remember that Fred Koch (Koch bros father) was a founding member of the John Birch Society - now known as today's "Tea Party" which has morphed into the "Alt-Right" with theocracy, extreme white nationalism (racism) and extreme sexism added to the putrid mix. Alt-Right are fully supported by the KKK, Nazis, skinheads, and MRAs and vice-versa.
I dislike the "alt-right" moniker though. This shit stew was tossed into a cauldron during Trump's campaign and continues boiling over after his election. Rather than "alt-right", I call them TRUMPISTAS. HE encouraged them, tossed gasoline onto their smoldering hatred and now HE OWNS THEM. It's appropriate that these so-called "people" AND their actions should bear HIS name.
They are Nazis and domestic terrorists - almost every day we hear of one of them attacking or killing someone innocent here in the US. THEY ARE RUNNING OUR GOVERNMENT NOW and aligning the US with the most deadly and dictatorial regimes around the world - while alienating our Democratic allies.
I know the words "Nazi" and "terrorists" are often too liberally applied to different groups, circumstances, people, and situations, but in this instance -- I think the application is fully appropriate -- and then some. We had better hope to GOD that no attacks happen here in the US like the one in Manchester or worse -- else we will have a full-on Reichstag Fire on our hands. And THEN no one will dispute the application of the term "NAZI" or "TERRORIST" to this administration and the vile demographic which follows and supports it.
THIS is the platform - the policies - of the Trump admin. It IS being written/underwritten by the Koch Bros - along with the Mercers (for the theocracy bits)
We're on a razor's edge here. These people need to be stopped. N O W. Or, there will be NO going back. EVER.

(3,678 posts)At least when it comes to the Ron Paul/David Koch version. Considering what a profoundly negative impact on human freedom such a program would have, most "libertarians" are either confused or mendacious.

(1,017 posts)And Libertarians aren't theocratic, alt right, tea party.... Libertarians are pro choice, for legalizing drugs, legalizing prostitution, gay rights.... That's very different from the groups you mentioned.

Read it again?
And while Libertarians aren't "Tea Party" - the Koch Brothers are: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brendan-demelle/study-confirms-tea-party-_b_2663125.html - they renamed their Daddy's John Birch Society and called it "Tea Party" in recent years.
And one of them ran as a Libertarian in 1980. Make of that what you will.
And, while the Kochs may not like Trump himself, evidently the Kochs most loyal servants (such as Rick Mulvaney and his disastrous budget) are serving in the Trump admin: http://www.salon.com/2017/01/11/koch-allies-in-the-white-house_partner/
I can find lots of links.....

(1 post)...Christians are fundamentally socialistic and humanistic. Fundamentalists, not so much. The Kochs and allies appear to be the fundamentalists of the Libertarianism.
