Republicans choose Party over Country

Republicans are "pro-choice" when it comes to choosing between Donald Trump and America. They understand exactly what they are doing. They choose to protect Donald Trump over the interests of our nation.

should fit on a bumper?

Today's Republican Party is acting more and more like the ruling party of an early 20th century banana republic, although instead of taking bribes from the United Fruit Company and acceding to the wishes of the US embassy, they take billionaires' dark money and collaborate with the Kremlin to tip American elections in their favor.

Because they tend to ignore long sentences with heavy thoughts.

I have done some study of Latin American history. I was not simply ranting when I compared the Republican Party's upper-level party machinery and their more prominent politicians to the ruling oligarchical parties of early 20th Latin American countries. I believe those convergences are very real. For those of us who cherish the idea of a representative republic for the people by the people, these convergences are alarming.

I'd agree with you that the average Bubba and Praying Janie who votes for the Republican Party don't see this convergence, but because they can't see it doesn't make those behavioral convergences any less real.
