Is a preview of Ken Burns' documentary about the Vietnam War.
Hope it'll be good, since it's from Ken Burns, it likely will be.
On PBS decades ago, I saw a "documentary" made by "Accuracy In Media," they blamed the entire failure of the Vietnam War on "liberals in the media." Figures.

(34,031 posts)1. Is the series starting tonight, or will it just be a preview?
ETA: Google tells me series will air in Sept.
However, only Ken Burns knows how to make a preview interesting.

Ken Burns can really make good documentaries, that are accurate too.

(4,892 posts)3. "The Civil War - A Film by Ken Burns" debuted in September 1990.
September seems to be the month for achieving optimal viewership for documentaries of this type. I anticipate that this newest work by Ken Burns will be worth watching.
