About to freak out. BANNON'S WAR & NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT

PBS 1 & 2.

Every Veterans Day, Every Memorial Day, I struggle with triggers, ptsd.
I am only the mother of an OIF VETERAN.
I often say, I am lucky & BLESSED,
my only "child" is HOME, and OUT,
whole, healthy and strong..

Mine, has "survivors guilt".
Me, I will never forgive, never forget.
WE are lucky & Blessed.

& as awful as my struggle is tonight..
it's nothing compared to those who paid with their Lives. Or their Loved Ones.

& SO much suffering & loss, for the likes of bannon, trump, etc? ??
This is a rough one.
Bless us. ALL. Without exception. aho.❤

Who only wanted to have a discussion with Baby Bush about her dead son, but the advisers would not let her. I wonder if she ever received that interview?

Personally, during my Son's deployment to Iraq, I didn't sleep more than 20 minutes at a time..for 3+ years. I couldn't leave the house, cuz I MIGHT get a call from Iraq. Old friends couldn't relate, didn't want to discuss it.
Somehow, I made it to Camp Casey, & saw, experienced, the Healing, between old Vets & young Vets..& for us ALL.
OmG. Power FULL Medicine.

DU, & CAMP CASEY, & MFSO
(Military Families Speak Out) &
Veterans for PEACE.. they saved my Sanity.
I will never forget.
THANKS, Y'ALL 💖

did 3 tours...and it was awful never knowing when the call would come in. We are thankful we got him back, but with his Post Traumatic....sometimes it feels as if I lost the fun, loving brother that I had.

And for Dump who was a draft dodger to even talk about war....what a hell of a joke!!! And a slap in the face to all military personnel and families!

Love & Goood Vibes to Your Brother, YOU, & Your whole Family.
Absolutely a slap in the face of America's Veterans & Military Families. Our Loved Ones didn't sacrifice, to give OUR Country to the enemy..to reduce OUR Nation to a laughing stock in the eyes of the World.

Thank YOU, for understanding, for Your reply..
Military Families are extended FAMILY.
My best Wishes to YOU & Yours. 💖

I am totally pissed that our current CIC is a blithering war mongering idiot who is in bed with the enemy. Never had this feeling before because it has never happened before.

I have family members in the military and can not imagine how they are feeling.

Trying to watch the concert was torture. & I watch it EVERY year. Just felt like an insult, hypocritical, as if they were laughing at US, & our Loved Ones, tonight.
I have always been a PATRIOT & a Pacifist. My worst nightmare was having my only "child" enlisted, to fight an illegal, immoral war.

Blessings on Your Relatives, right now.
Thank YOU for understanding the pain of this night.
KNOW it ain't over.
The weirdos do not deserve the Gooodness of America. & WE will overcome.
BELIEVE IT. 💖

Thank you for mentioning YOUR Ptsd . So many people don't understand that family members also suffer from it. My brother was a total mess while his son was in Iraq.
My thanks to you and your son for your service.
P.S . My nephew is now the proud father of 2 little girls.

I appreciate Your sharing & understanding.
I had some older Veterans (VFP) tell me that "Families SERVE, too" & that Families have it harder than the Service Members, cuz Families have to wait, & wonder,& worry..while the Service Member is busy with their Duty.
Blessings on Your Brother, Your Nephew, You, Your whole Family. & those 2 lil precious baby Girls!
Thank YOU, again.

It often brings me to tears, but it helps to bring the sacrifice to those who do not have direct contact with military families. Also, the show does a good job of letting people know resources are available to help them. I think there were 3 times during the show that people were directed to someplace where they can get help. Also, I think General Powell or one of the speakers talked about those left behind.

The Capitol 4th is so much more upbeat, but Memorial Day is an important watch too.

Except it is my husband, not my son, who is the OIF Veteran with Survivor's Guilt. He also has hearing loss, mild TBI and PTSD.

I have been experiencing the same feelings you have, and it's exhausting.

Big, big hugs to you today! Thank you for posting this!

We are truly lucky & BLESSED, that ours are HOME, & OUT.
& yet.. some days we realize, it isn't really over.
Some days we feel it will never be over..'specially days like today.

Yet, I have to BELIEVE..
KARMA & Divine Timing are at Work.
We just keep our Hearts in the right place,
and keep the Faith..
Do our Best, be rowdy, noisy, active.
*RESIST*& BELIEVE.
& BE BLESSED.
