The funniest Dilbert cartoon I've ever seen almost made me smirk a little. Never understood the appeal.

Factor that blandness in with the creator's bullshit attitudes, and it's simply not worth my time.

Negotiation.
That why he's having tremendous success with healthcare-repeal and his wall and his budget.

Persuasion.
That why the Democrats have said they won't work with him.

Construction.
That's why he partnered with the russian mob to finance his projects.

Decision-making.
That's why his decisions vary from "Fuck this" to "Fuck This, I want to go home".

Public-speaking.
That's why he cannot use coherent sentences without a prepared speech and a teleprompter.

Necessary firings.
That's why he kept Flynn around and holds onto Kushner, while "firing" Manafort with a $3.5 million golden parachute to keep him from blabbing.

Listening to advisors.
He's great at listening to people even though there's no need for that. He has the best brains and always knows best.

I'm not going to post any of the content from his blog post, linked below, because in my mind it would be a violation of DU's "Don't spread right wing talking points." But this dick isn't a master satirist. He's a Trump fan.

I can tell you from personal experience that he missed about 80% of what actually went on inside those four walls.

When I was there it was intensely political. My boss was one of those "one in a million" guys. The Web was just becoming a part of the mainstream. I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of it (I have been a self-employed Web Designer since 2001). When I worked for him, I had minimal knowledge of Web Design and no hands-on skills. I was on a contract position for about a year, so I networked heavily with the programmers on my team, and they loaned me HTML books. I bought a computer and my boss GAVE ME my first copy of Photoshop (it was version 4.0). And as I neared the end of my assignment he told me "I know this is what you really want to do. If you go out and learn the skills and I have an opening in the future, I'll hire you."

And time and time and time again I watched him get screwed over by HIS boss, and I watched the positioning and jockeying for power and he never allowed himself to become poisoned by it.

One day he had planned an "appreciation" lunch for our department. And on that morning, his boss held a meeting...which he was not invited to...in which she handed him a MAJOR screwing in front of his peers. EVERY ONE OF US told him "Look, we hate this, it pisses us off, we understand if you want to cancel lunch." And he said "NO, we're GOING," and he rose above it, and was in good spirits the whole time.

THAT was Pacific Bell, not some effing unfunny "Dilbert" strip.

...because I've always enjoyed his strip and knowing he's a Trump fan might detract from my enjoyment.

But I guess the guy's full on Kool Aid. Unless he's doing a really deep Andy Kaufman level trolling.

That doesn't mean he is capable of having an intelligent conversation about even that, much less anything else.
