I'm watching it, and it's frightening. Early on, Offred/June says the theocratic dystopia happened because people weren't paying attention. It didn't happen all at once, but drip by drip. I can't watch Dump speak, but I can see Pence's fine hand in today's speech.

As an atheist, and more importantly as an American, I'm horrified at what's happening. EVERYONE should fear a theocracy. Women, minorities, everyone but the "Commanders" (white men) are at risk. Women in particular never fare well in a theocracy.
