Mitch McConnell Implicated In Widespread Putin/Ukraine Money Funnel; FBI Notified

http://bipartisanreport.com/2017/05/27/mitch-mcconnell-implicated-in-widespread-putinukraine-money-funnel-fbi-notified/

I do not know anything of FBI procedures. Please can anyone explain what the next steps will be and how long this will take?

I just cannot imagine anything sticking on these sleazy politicians...they have outsmarted the system for so long...they are acting so nonchalant!

And McConnell and Ryan are not appearing nervous? Shouldn't they be shaking in their boots? Why are they not scrambling for their lawyers? And why is MSM not reporting these yet?

McConnell is probably guilty of something, but we don't know exactly what.

Doesn't it seem fishy to you that McConnell refused to act on Obama's appointment of Merrick Garland to the SCOTUS? He didn't delay it for a few weeks or months, he delayed for an entire year. His reason was that an "outgoing" President doesn't get to appoint something so important, it has to be saved for the next incoming President to make the appointment.

At the time, all the polls showed that Hillary Clinton had the lead (after she received the party nomination) and she looked like a surefire winner because Trump's candidacy was so out of left field.

What did McConnell know and when did he know it? He must have been in cahoots with Putin somehow, even if there's no money trail. Maybe Putin has kompromat on him, or I don't know what. Otherwise he would have allowed the confirmation of Merrick Garland to move forward.

It makes sense, you know?

And also, if anyone wants to review contributors for individual campaigns, see https://www.fec.gov/.

Although, with the super pacs, the clever politicians believe we cannot see the movement of money from one campaign to another. Especially, when McConnell receives usual contributions between $1000 to $5000, but then infrequently gets a slush of $500,000 from the RNC. And he already has $11,000,000 in his campaign funds to start for next election. Quite fishy to have gained this money in 2016...when the RNC would have needed it for the 2016 elections.

It would be very disturbing if our entire government was permeated with people who owe a debt to the Russians.

with a grain (or a barrel) of salt. It's a click-bait site that often carries unsourced rumors and conspiracy theories. If this is true it will turn up in a legitimate news outlet like the WaPo or NYT.

Or, when it is confirmed enough for a reputable news agency to stake its reputation on it, then I will believe it.

These clickbait sites don't have a reputation to lose. So they can just throw out stories. You win some, you lose some.

In theory super PACs are supposed to be independent of the candidate and his team aren't they?

I'm sure they'll all squeeze through this with nothing more than a slap on the wrist

They will investigate but it coild take a long time. They will not discuss it officially until investigation is complete, and if they don't find enough evidence against Ryan or McConnell they will say nothing. Assuming they don't pull a Comey and announce they were "careless."
