His opponents all yelled at not being able to attack a moving target, and plenty of voters admitted to not really knowing what they were voting for with Macron. However, he did give an impression of being a solid personality, and he sure as hell wasn't LePen or an ideologue tied down to any mainstream party. It was enough. So far it looks like France is happy with its choice. So far, I'd say they have every right to be.
