Takuma Sato has had a long and prestigious career in motorsports, including driving in the pinnacle of the sport: Formula One.

Drivers from ALL OVER THE WORLD compete in the Indy 500, including drivers from OTHER countries we have been to war with.

This year Fernando Alonso from SPAIN (also a CURRENT Formula One driver) was competing and was a strong contender for the win. Would he have had the same reaction if Alonso had won? (We have been at war with Spain in the past!)

NASCAR has a bit of a racist history. Sports writers should know better. Perhaps Indy racing is the last bastion of white supremacy in sports, but everywhere else, people have learned that the best players win, regardless of where they call home.
