Violence in the name of religion is Terrorism.

Stoning a rape victim under Sharia law, bombing an abortion clinic, beating someone because they peacefully practice their own religion, throwing gay people off buildings; I don't care whether you're a Muslim, a Christian, brown as pumpernickel, white as bleached rice, or any shade in between with variances.

This is my new philosophy.

This means *actual acts of violence*. I am in no way condoning a witch hunt against a religion based on the actions of a few fundamentalists. Individuals are judged by their actions. If "religion" spurs a person to violence in any way, that is an act of terror against humanity.

The Crusades are over. America was founded on religious freedom (no really, fundies, study your history) but an ideological act of violence meant to frighten those not of that ideology (or keep people of that ideology "in line&quot is an act of terror and is against what America stands for.

That is all.
