I stopped listening to Nugent in my teens and I'm 57.
Im stunned that this guy is a hero to many on the right. I also think that Griffin is an idiot for whst she just did and i think they both have some serious issues.

like them and this current President, quickly learn to do over-the-top things (either every once in awhile or as a matter of course) in order to get "attention". They are a dime a dozen and that is the only way to keep themselves "relevant".

It is a nature of their "business" and the sad thing is when that "business" invades the government or government functioning (such as what this current administration's "entertainment-nurtured" WH staff have done).

we have many who post here on DU that say "hate speech" is "protected speech" and many of us had to battle here for 8 years when incident after incident after incident of this sort of thing or worse occurred against Barack, Michelle, Malia & Sasha, Marian, and even their poor dogs.

"First Amendment".

was that to some, "First Amendment" means that these forms of "speech" are not "wrong". They are just "speech".

that high profile liberals think that what Griffin did was appropriate. Trump validated Nugent by sharing a stage with him during the campaign and of course the ultimate validation - the White House visit. Anyone think that any politician will be seen within a 100 feet of Griffin in the future?

I enjoy being sarcastic and can be considered nasty on Facebook.
But there are lines one crosses at their own peril.
Kathy g just got reminded of those lines.

She makes her living being on the edge. Seems she guessed wrong.

I was against the film made depicting an assassination of George W. Bush back in the day too. So, there, contrary to right-wingers or "both sides" pundits, liberals DO criticize our own when they go too far.

She went too far to get attention and it's fair to say this was a bad decision on her part.

We have to remember that our side doesn't get to flaunt our violent implulses with impunity.

If common decency doesn't stop us.
