The 800 Pound Gorilla in the room

Spending our days ridiculing Cheeto Face is fun and all , but how do we secure the voting machines and make sure everyone who wants to vote, can do so?

Nothing else matters. Without a laser focus on this we will get 4 more years of destruction and kaos after these first 4. I cannot imagine what would be left would even be worth saving. They are systematically destroying everything we value and have built up since Roosevelt.

The DNC has to make this priority 1. I don't see this happing and it scares me.

Voting is a state-by-state issue. It's going to be up to the voters and party organizations in each state to work on that problem. The DNC is a national organization and has virtually no power in the individual states.

In which state do you live? How are you working to make your state's elections fair, open and attractive to voters? That's the real question to ask. If you expect the DNC to fix a state problem, you will be disappointed. That organization cannot do it. Look to your state's party organization and ask them how you can help with the effort, instead.

Have been for years. Fortunately Connecticut hasn't had the same issues other States have. I am a poll watcher though and would like to think doing what I can.

Having stolen 3 of the last 5 Presidential elections successfully, the GOP/Rs are no doubt emboldened to win at all costs in 2020 regardless of how open/brazen/conspicuous their tactics might be. They've won in the court of after-the-fact public opinion, and that's all that matters.

Even though it's a State by State issue, the DNC should make this a priority. If nothing else, the DNC should be actively encouraging and supporting individual State Democratic Party efforts to ensure secure and accurate elections. Some States are doing a good job, but quite a few are obviously not. The DNC has a vitally important role to play in helping to make sure appropriate attention is being paid to correcting these problems within individual States by the State Party organizations.

1. Republicans have already secured the theft of the 2018 elections.

2. There is literally and absolutely nothing that I can do about it.

The first is a strong impression based on the fact that they seem wholly unconcerned that Trump will hurt their reelection chances.

If someone can offer me a reason to doubt the second, I would greatly appreciate it.
