Getting such a downpour here (foothills of the Rockies)...big ol stinging rain here, raining sideways...Relief is on it's way guys, hang in there.
The heat has broken...
Edit...Raining BUCKETS...for the last 15 minutes, looks like no let up...everything looks grey for all the rain

(131,074 posts)Supposed to 'break' here, DC suburbs, Monday. Rain/storms expected both tomorrow and Monday, and high Monday forecast @ 81.
102 here now.
HOPE we don't get destructive storms as we had Friday week.

(111,329 posts)and it's been great here since Tuesday, when it started. If it doesn't rain, we at least get cooling outflow winds when storms move over the valley and collapse. Clouds after 3 PM or so keep the sun hidden and the heat down a full 10 degrees from what it was.
I just hope it doesn't fizzle out again this year like it has for nearly all the past 20.
