District 6, Osoff in Georgia. There were no poles open signs. I was perplexed, so I decided to check the internet for locations. My regular location has been moved. It would have been nice to have some notification. I see no reason to have moved the site.

(3,867 posts)on election day we must go to our designated polling place. If there are changes to to designated place, we are notified by mail.

(15,286 posts)When I served as a judge of elections, our precinct had that happen when a private school that had served us for many years decided it no longer wanted the hassle of being a polling place.

(32,704 posts)on the local news (can't remember the channel). They spent like 2 seconds on it. They said voters would receive new precinct cards in the mail. I'm in District 4, but based on your post, it looks like the SOS never got around to mailing the new cards out.
When I saw the brief blurb on the news, I was going to make a post about it, but I didn't want to sound too negative/ pessimistic. Now, it's clear that my initial reaction was correct--they really are cheating/playing games. It's disgusting.
