ignorance and his lies. Now they seem surprise to find out that the scarecrow doesn't have a brain. What pisses me off the most is Joe and Mika who gave this idiot all that free air time, had multiple fallings out and kiss and makeup with Trump now look so sad to see how far he has sank. Who knew? Hell we all knew what an ignorant con artist he was and the press continues to let him and his team of con artist's get away with it.

The presidency isn't an f'ing playground. Lives are at stake with his bullshit healthcare plan, as are our relationships with allies. The media created this monster because it helped their ratings. Now that we're stuck with him for the time being, they should stop aiding and abetting his bullshit.

They should not continue to tweet his bullshit. If he wants to be president and has something to say, let him say it, not tweet it. Stop giving airtime to assholes. I feel that I lose brain cells just listening to the news reports on him.

Oh sure, what the media, the GOP, and some Dems SAY is: "She shouldn't whine about the election she lost. Rehashing. Relitigating. That's just such bad optics." Rinse, repeat. What every single one of them MEANS is: "The little lady needs to sit down and shut the hell up. Shutupshutupshutupshutup."

All I have to say to that is Hell No. All of us need to bear in mind that a lot of people want her to be silenced and invisible. To hell with them all.

alluded to, not linked to. What I see is a very strong pundit, who I usually agree with saying that she should speak out. here is that paragraph.

Now, Lemieux has put paid to this latter nonsense, drawing on a strong column by David Faris in The Week, in which Faris points out that no previous recent presidential runner-up—Al Gore, John Kerry, or Mitt Romney—went away entirely quietly after they lost. (To which list Lemieux adds John McCain, while I would add the name of N. Leroy Gingrich, Definer of civilization's rules and Leader—perhaps—of the civilizing forces, who still has an honored place in our national political dialogue despite having run one of the most preposterous presidential campaigns in history.) But I would push Faris' argument even further, and I was inspired to do so by something said to my man Chuck Todd by Ruth Marcus, scourge of teenaged potty-mouths everywhere. Marcus turned Faris' analysis on its head, citing Gore and Kerry as examples of how to fade into the background and as role models for HRC, whom Marcus wishes would just shut up and stop ruining the cocktail hour. Knowing nods around the table

I seriously think that there are more people on her side raising this issue than there are people actively saying she should go away. I personally don't get it as portraying Clinton as a victim does not help her speak out.

My point is that I see things she says covered, discussed and taken seriously. Getting coverage when she speaks is important as it means that she is one of the voices.

She is being accused of blaming everyone except herself. That is a blatant lie. She has taken full responsible for HER OWN ACTIONS AND WHAT SHE DID DURING THE CAMPAIGN. But she also is pointing out the other factors that were at play in helping to defeat her. In this, she has been totally correct but some do not want to hear it. They would rather just say that she was a "bad candidate" part of the party " elites" out of touch with the average American (when, in fact, her entire campaign was focused on what needs to be done for improving the lives of average Americans). Russian interference, Mercer money, media perpetuation of fake news and virtually shutting off her economic message in favor of covering blowhard Trump's visceral bloviating all contributed to the Democrats losing the electoral votes in three critical states. Add to that mix the overt voter suppression carried out by the GOP at every level and you get sad, sad picture of our current situation.

claiming that others are saying that than I am seeing any political official or media pundit or either side arguing that she should not be covered.

I saw her interview covered on every MSNBC show and I saw her commencement speech was covered live on several channels. I am not sure why the burst of "Everyone is telling Clinton to go away" is coming from.

Of course, everyone has the right to listen or not listen, to accept or not accept, to publicly agree or not agree. Each element of the media has the right to cover or not cover what she says -- and if they opt to cover it, they very likely will critique it, which is their right.

I seriously do not get the sudden extreme defense of letting HRC speak, when from what I could see, when she chooses to speak, she is her speeches and interviews are abundantly covered. Not to mention, I am very tired with the repeated claim that past nominees who lost in both parties were all treated much much better. Seriously, how many speeches and interviews of Mitt Romney were covered by seemingly all news channels?

As several people have noted in this thread, she is constantly being criticized for "blaming everyone but herself," for "playing the blame game," "she keeps bringing it up," etc. I can't imagine that you haven't heard this if you've been watching/listening to the coverage.

She has ample opportunity to not just speak, but to have what she says widely disseminated.

What YOU are asking is different. That she get her say with no one criticizing her for what she says.

You seem much more focused on defending the criticism of her and going after those of us who are calling it out than of seeing what she's actually being criticized for and how original and unique it is to her. Of course, that's your prerogative. But your insistence on arguing a point that is completely unrooted in fact makes it difficult for me to take you seriously.
