Obama Coolly Returns And Annihilates Trump For Leaving Paris Climate Agreement

President Obama released a statement after Trump withdrew the US from the Paris climate agreement that showed America what real vision and leadership look like.

In a statement provided to PoliticusUSA, former President Obama said:

A year and a half ago, the world came together in Paris around the first-ever global agreement to set the world on a low-carbon course and protect the world we leave to our children.

It was steady, principled American leadership on the world stage that made that achievement possible. It was bold American ambition that encouraged dozens of other nations to set their sights higher as well. And what made that leadership and ambition possible was America’s private innovation and public investment in growing industries like wind and solar – industries that created some of the fastest new streams of good-paying jobs in recent years, and contributed to the longest streak of job creation in our history.

Simply put, the private sector already chose a low-carbon future. And for the nations that committed themselves to that future, the Paris Agreement opened the floodgates for businesses, scientists, and engineers to unleash high-tech, low-carbon investment and innovation on an unprecedented scale.

The nations that remain in the Paris Agreement will be the nations that reap the benefits in jobs and industries created. I believe the United States of America should be at the front of the pack. But even in the absence of American leadership; even as this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future; I’m confident that our states, cities, and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help protect for future generations the one planet we’ve got.

It would be nice, but not true to say that this is a policy discussion between two individuals with different views. It would be nice, but it wouldn’t be true. What former President Obama did with his statement was a destruction of the gibberish that Donald Trump is trying to use as his basis for withdrawing the US from the Paris climate change agreement.

Obama remains a visionary who is looking forward towards America’s future, while Trump is the old man trying to fight against progress. Obama was correct. The private sector has already chosen there are 65,000-70,000 jobs in coal. There are 350,000 American jobs in wind and solar energy production.

Barack Obama is still leading the country and providing a vision of the best America possible that should be embraced by states, cities, and businesses all across the United States.

I really like it.

And I can't wait until some fact checkers get things together to prove his numbers were stupid, (like a Trillion dollars of growth since he took over????? He said there was a trillion something and alluded it to his economic policies. What a toad) (Apologies to all the toads out there)

because he hates Obama (because he's racist) and he wants to please his 35% deplorable base. OK, that makes sense...to a man-baby.

No, he is an ass who is trying to fight against what he thinks are demons swirling in his bloated orange head. And he will continue to swing wildly like a madman at these imaginary things that have him seething in rage because they represent people and concepts that are better than him.

Doesn't matter if it's working or not. If it isn't his he smashes it. Very different from past Presidents of both parties who would try to keep the things that worked and claim them as their own.

I haven't heard, but that speech sounded like it was written 100% by Bannon. Belligerent and nasty in tone, and repetitive in structure. Could have been straight from the pages of Breitbart.

Read: "I made campaign promised to the Koch Brothers and other fossil-fuel interests (who have actually come around to recognize the impact of human activity on global climate change, but that doesn't matter), so piss off!"

Karma for this shit-gibbon is building up so fast and massively that when it happens even Faux News will be forced to report it.

It means that the USA will definitely not be able to rejoin until 2021, earliest. And that's only if another miracle precedes it.

You stupid, stupid asshole.
