1. That is the bottom line.

From the day that Obama publicly humiliated the chronically thin skinned Trump, revenge has consumed him. Everything he has done from that point on was aimed at destroying everything that Obama had accomplished as president. To that aim, Trump took the baton from the Republicans in congress and made it his goal to finish the job they started. Trump won't be satisfied until he has wrung out every last drop of revenge against Obama, even if that means destroying the whole country in the process.
