Today Putin admits "patriotic Russians" may have hacked election & compliments Trump

Virtually every single day since the inauguration Trump has done or said something that reveals a bizarrely "friendly" relationship with Putin & Russia -- as we have been discussing here since January (and earlier). Today in Trump/Russia news, Putin admitted for the first time that "patriotic Russians" may have indeed hacked into the US elections (all the Russians listening to Putin and Putin himself seemed to think this was all quite hilarious -- smiles on their faces not quite as blatant as Kislyak and Labrov in the Oval Office but to me a similarly sarcastic "knowing" type of expression). Also Putin praised Trump while stating that they had never met.

It makes me sick to my stomach -- every day Trump does something overt that plays into the Russia playbook (isolating US from Europe -- the idiotic pulling out of the climate deal is yet another step in that direction). And now we learn that Trump plans to return the mansions to the Russians that Obama had taken as part of the sanctions placed against Russia for the elections. It's SO blatant and our gov seems to be incapable (and of course unwilling in republican cases) to do anything to stop this train wreck, which is rather scary indeed.

5. Seriously. Every day it gets worse, and our gov seems totally helpless. Actually scary to see how

easy it is to accomplish something like this -- the Russians prop up a candidate who appears to have zero loyalty towards his country (I think his outrageous comments about John McCain and blatant disrespect towards the Gold Star families demonstrated that quite clearly -- yet vets voted for a draft dodging ass who disrespects vets) and is completely in their control (I don't mean mentally but in terms of money and whatever kompromat they have on Trump and co) and win the highest, most powerful office in the world.

It's a lot cheaper than trying to maintain a massive army and nuclear weapons. All they had to do was find a suitable stooge - Trump - and then invest in some hacking (bots and so on invading twitter and Facebook and swaying the opinions of low information voters)

"Patriotic Russians" did not have the money to buy or code the hacks that took advantage of zero day vulnerabilities in the DNC networks. Only organized crime and nation states have that sort of money.

"Patriotic Russians" don't have the connections or knowhow to weaponize the data.
