We are ruled by stupid, spiteful assholes,

who were "elected" by stupid, spiteful assholes who fell for and pointed to justification pushed by Russian propaganda.

We used to be a shining city on the hill. Now we are an international pariah.

I'm just pissed off so much right now.

Treat us as enemies, do everything they can to destroy us financially, because we will cause less death and destruction that way.

Sad to say that is what needs to happen.

America is gone, Russia is in charge.

I just feel intense disgust and contempt. We are ruled by criminals and traitors. The whole republican party from cast to coast, from top to bottom, is a vast criminal RICO enterprise to relentlessly acquire money in any way possible - no matter how filgthy and disgusting. Republican rule is a kleptocracy. Trump rule is especially a kakocracy (govenment by the very worst, most corrupt and venal people.)

And it is our own fault. Far too many Americans have fallen into indifference and non-voting. Far too many of us have been dazzled by the love of money above all other values. It is time to demand, insist that old virtues of wisdom, integrity, fairness, generosity, respect, and justice become our highest values. These are not only religious values for the religious, they are ethically moral values for all human beings everywhere.

it appears the ignore-ance of that coordinated PSYOPS merely because it hurts our jheads to listen to it continues.

trump is a talk radio president. he studied it in 2014 according to sam nunberg who worked for him who said he listened to 1000s of hours of it and reported to trump.

most of the russian rtolling was based on years of talk radio attacks on clinton and dems and obama.the hacking material was repeated all over 1000 radio stations.

when limbaugh spent an unprecedented 3 days straight in 2009 creating 'climategate' to successfully undermine obama at copenhagen climate talks the climate scientist emails that were taken out of context for him to use came from a russian hacking a few days before.

to trump and his talk radio base global warming is a hoax and obamacare is a failure because a few hundred assholes on the radio hiding behind call screeners told them so and no one got in their face to call them liars and assholes.

dems can complain till they're blue but this won't get much better anytome soon as long as we continue to ignore the right's best weapon.

It is a mass brainwashing campaign going on for decades now. A whole generation has been brought up on it.

How Clearchannel has infiltrated every former sports talk station as well, craftily in order to scoop up listeners that tuned in to hear their favorite sports team, and the station that rah rahs for their team, is prominent in the community etc...making them seem to be all the more trustworthy. Also the armed forces radio stations.

Eliminating the 'fairness doctrine' was one of the biggest mistakes in Bill Clintons term. Another "third way" accomplishment.

9 years later because of 9 years of 1000 radio stations pounding the country with "deregulation will lower your cable prices" "liberal media" etc, plus they used talk radio to take over the senate, get the iran contra traitors off, excuse torture, and deify reagan vs a guy who got a blowjob.

I was mixed up on that.

But it is astounding how many normally decent folk can be swayed by not only talk radio lies repeated ad naseum, but TV political ads showing the flag, cowboys, heart-string music etc...and of course guns.

Since the mass media is owned and controlled by only a small number, makes a person wonder why
these right wing and left wing news outlets are fighting among themselves. It really confused me when I first learned that Louise Mensch is paid by Murdock, the owner of Fox news. Is Murdock stirring the pot, to attract more viewers?

Also, Murdock and Dump are chummy friends, so where is the loyalty to Dump? Murdock is paying someone to slander and libel Dump (and I say slander and libel because she does not give reference for her sources).

So, I look at the money...how many billions of dollars were spent on the last election cycle, which a majority of funds went for media marketing. Who got the money? And now that Rublicans and Dems are fighting fiercely, what will occur in 2018?

More money than ever raised...just to get that idiot out of the office.

at a cheap $1000/hr x 15hrs/day x 5 = $75,000/wk x 1200 stations rw talk radio is worth $18MIL/day or 390MIL$ /month or 4.68 BIL$/ year FREE for coordinated global warming denial, pro republican free market deregulation and wall st think tank propaganda, swiftboating, and the hate and fear used to get people to vote republican.

Fri Jun 2, 2017, 05:55 PM

the u.s. has been an imperialist country since at least the turn of the 20th century. we have contributed to, if not dictated, the horrible conditions in countries around the world. and while we started out as one among many imperialist countries, we have risen to the top of the imperialist exploitation game. this indisputable phenomenon has given rise to hatred of u.s. imperialism (and not necessarily the u.s. or it's people per se, but the imperialist policies of the u.s. ruling class). so why do people want to emigrate here? exactly because of the terrible conditions imperialist policies have created, and because in order not to be overthrown at home, the imperialists must throw some bones and crumbs to its people from its plunder from abroad, must allow at least a superficial modicum of freedom to appear, relatively, like a mythical shining city.

it's too late in the game to be naive about our history and current dilemma. the fundamental state of the u.s. is not different under trump. trump is the logical extension of imperialism. it's like Zappa said about the stage being cleared of props when they're tired of the charade. the fundamental issue is our stance to our imperialist/corporatocracy.

By allowing propaganda from Nazi-wannabes, KKK types, and worst of all "men of god" -- and by treating money as speech -- we have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind.

The propaganda has damaged multiple generations beyond repair. Those affected will never come around to sanity again.

IF we could still pull ourselves out of this hole -- if it's not already too late -- it would be by finding a way (and a philosophy) that would let us effectively counter the liars and hate-mongers.

If we wait for the marketplace of ideas to save us, we have less than a snowball's chance in hell.
