Sold out, of course ("in 15 seconds" they were saying on the radio earlier today, though that sounds exaggerated to me). They'd mentioned at an earlier game it took time to get everyone in through security, so people should arrive early for the matches; even more so now, I imagine.

13. I remember playing it as a kid but it was such a boring sport to watch.

My two brothers would be glued to the TV during a match that would last several days. I guess it is still popular there.

14. We lived near a community ground and learned the game

and the rules. The struggle between bat and ball had me hooked. A test match was an event.

The ground is almost full already in Birmingham.
