The Republican congress will simply say "Fire? What fire? Fake news." Hell, if they can deny climate change, then whatever Trump did will be no problem for them to excuse.

He is owned by the Trump people. Comey has been blackmailed, bought off, and promised future rewards if he just leaves town and never comes back.

Watch for Comey to take a well paid consulting job for one of the Koch industries in the mid west and is never seen again
