What does the world like about us?

I am in the Netherlands today and I had a long conversation with 6 people from Spain and France about "my country". I began with the statement that I did NOT vote for that jackass. After much discussion back and forth, it was decided that there are three great things about the US.
1. Our Constitution
2. Our Jazz
3. Our baseball. This one gathered the most discussion time. They are all passionate about baseball. Even the women.

It was a universal truth that our political system is corrupt, we all agreed to that. BTW, they all agreed the Macron is a POS. I was surprised to hear that, but they feel that he could not care at all for the common man.

So what do we like, and what are we willing to fight for? I hope it's more than baseball.

I like the struggle that has been set up with the two party system. As flawed as it is, I feel we have a pendulum swinging back and forth, while ever so slowly extending further and further to the left.

8. Well, #3 sounds strange to me.

Were the Spaniards all from one area where baseball is a topic of interest?

I ask because I've lived in Spain and have many friends there (from different parts of the country) and I have never (and I mean NEVER) heard a Spaniard talk about baseball or had a Spaniard ask me as an American to discuss or explain anything related to baseball.

Great if they like our baseball, but you may have met over 50% of the Spaniards who are passionate about the game!

9. Some of our medical advancements are amazing...

Polio Vaccine, cancer medications, preventive medicine, technologies of many kinds..you name them...
assembly lines to produce many instead of a few, ...how about TV, radio..computers..etc..etc..etc..
The world likes a whole lot about us................................oh....a very important one.......which I left out..

A lot of it is about the diversity.
