As I suspected, Anonymous was simply drawing attention to itself because a new report says even USA and Israel have not been able to contain the spread of ISIS' recruitment power on the internet:

3. Don't see a need for it to be housed anywhere.

But if you looked at when cutoffs were for emails in their data dumps, if you looked at when their info was posted, you might get a clue. If they're off Russian holidays but not US or British holidays, if they never post before start of working hours in Britain or the US but when Russia's open for business, then you'd have an idea.

I assume somebody's already done this. I suspect it's the NSA. And while I'd really like to know this, I suspect my knowing this is of much less importance than Anonymous' not knowing if it's been done.
