Are People Working In The WH Lawyering Up?......

Now that they learned that Trump is being investigated for Obstruction of Justice - I believe that they can become part of that obstruction case if they aid and abet Trump. One would think that the message of Trump's being investigated would cause them to think twice about how they conduct themselves going forward. One might also think that they would begin to protect themselves and lawyer up.

I just hope that they don't get sucked in by Trump telling them that he'd protect them financially and provide them the means for a lawyer. I could see him telling them something like that - given during the run-up to the election he told supporters at his rally's that he'd pay for their lawyers - if they got in trouble for roughing people up that were contrary to Trump and threw them out.

Any word yet as to whether or not any WH staff is lawyering up?

1. Seems like anyone who would be involved has already appeared before the committees.

I assume they spoke to lawyers already.

Coates, Sessions, Rogers, McCabe, etc.

5. Let's Explore That - Why Would He Advise Them Not To Lawyer Up?.....

One thing I can think of is if Trump's WH Staff begin to lawyer up - it might give off the stench that Trump (his employer) is guilty.

Trump couldn't live with that - hence - he tells his lawyer to tell his staff not to lawyer up.

Could there be any other reason(s)?

7. Perhaps Trump plans to throw his staff members under the bus...

...so if staff does not lawyer up, it will be easier to manage them into doing certain things that will deflect culpability away from Trump.

They lawyer up and he has an actual lawyer to go thru instead of talking to them. And that lawyer would be looking out for the worker's/aide's best interest instead of drumf's.

They are all gonna have a hard dose of reality if they are suddenly handed subpoena papers or called in for questioning. What do they think...that drumf's lawyer is going to rep THEM, also?
I have no sympathy for any of them...they chose to get on and STAY on the crazy train. It's not like there were NOT SIGNS of his instability pre-election. They all could have bailed a long, long time ago.

9. Sure--good lawyers would advise staff members to do whatever is necessary to protect themselves.

If that means flipping on the boss, then their best interests are in conflict with Trump's best interests.
