I don't wish death on anyone, but I have to admit that as soon as I heard the flatulent cheeto talking trash about the intelligence community, I said he probably needed to avoid convertible cars and Dallas from that point on. These are people who lay it in the line for this country but some of them are also stone cold and capable of anything. I would not want them pissed off at me.

I posted it there yesterday morning. I posted a shorter version of it here a few days ago.

Good brain storming going on about some details in the responses - but the key is that it is spreading. Every hour there are another 50 to 100 "shares" added to that total.

Some of the suggestions I liked in response suggest wearing Red White and Blue during the mobilization, and preparing signs and banners NOW so that they are ready as soon as they are needed...

Pundits will argue over the firing memo. Republican leaders will spew their usual bullshit - there will be no immediate Congressional action because of them.

But there will be massive demonstrations.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said on Tuesday that Congress would not sit by if President Donald Trump decided to fire the special counsel leading the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Schiff said such a decision would have “echoes of Watergate,” when former President Richard Nixon ordered the termination of special prosecutor Archibald Cox.

“I don’t think that Congress would sit still and allow the President to pick his own investigator,” Schiff said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Schiff said he hopes it “would be the last straw” for many Republicans in Congress who have “stayed their hand and not been willing to speak out” against Trump’s decisions.
